What is EthnoLinks?
EthnoLinks is a user-driven catalog of links to resources about the languages of the world.
EthnoLinks is based on the Ethnologue database and goes a step farther by allowing users to share information and links about languages that they speak.
Quick Start
Search in the box at the top of the page for any language or country. Get help in the sidebar on the left.
Ready-made resources:
- Links to information on the world’s languages by leading sources like Ethnologue, Joshua Project and Linguist List.
- Photos on Flickr tagged with the language name and country.
- An LL map showing the area where the language is spoken
User-generated content:
- Links to existing resources on the web about a language
- First-hand anecdotal information about language use
- Community-building of online language communities
Get involved!
